Allmän presentation av CIS
CIS har sedan starten 1991 arbetat med kostnadsfri studierådgivning för studier i USA, Australien och Nya Zeeland. CIS arbetar på uppdrag av universiteten och är officiel representant i Sverige. Vi erbjuder en helhetsservice med information om skolan, utbildningen, hjälp med ansökan, språktester, CSN, boende, försäkring, resor, visum, stipendier mm. Skolorna är alla ackrediterade och godkända.
Som studievägledare kan det vara svårt att vara insatt i alla aspekter kring utlandsstudier. Därför har vi ett speciellt paket anpassat till din bakgrund. Här finns vår senaste broschyr, allmän information samt affischer och vykort som kan läggas ut till studenterna.
En del av CIS service är att besöka gymnasieskolor, arbetsförmedlingar och universitet och informerat om utlandsstudier. Vi svarar på frågor och går igenom vad som generellt gäller vid studier utomlands. Normalt brukar presentationen/informationen ta ca 40 minuter och sedan ytterligare 10-20 minuter för frågor. Vi ställer gärna upp ett bord på er skola under en dag så att alla har möjligheten att ta del av informationen och ställa frågor. Våra informationsseminarier tar bland annat upp följande aspekter:
- Vad som krävs för att studera utomlands: - Betyg - Språkkunskaper
- Språkprov (TOEFL, IELTS)
- Vilka alternativ studenten har - Fristående kurser, Kandidatexamen (ex. Ekonomi, IT, Design m.fl) Magisterexamen.
- Skillnader på olika utbildningar och skolor.
- Finansieringsalternativ - CSN, Stipendier, Arbete.
- Övriga aspekter - boende, resa, försäkring, budget mm.
